I can’t get Polemaster to save .bmp file from the save file menu.

Any way to save my file?

I have never tried this.  I have never needed this function. At what point are you trying to save the image?

Have you posted this problem at the QHY Forum site?

Sorry, polemaster cannot save photos. If you need to take pictures, you can buy qhy5-ii series.

I am new at AP.  I wanted to check my Polar starfield to make sure I was centered on Polaris to do the alignment.

I wanted to upload the picture to astrometry.net to check.

Now I see from above response, that even though it is in the software and manual as an option, I can not do it.

Too bad.

Not to be an a hole or captain obvious here but that's what the star template in the software is for. If you can't rotate it and place a star in each circle then you aren't pointing at Polaris.
