That's a GREAT idea!  I just read it.  Alarming that the archives don't even have work stations anymore to even examine the plates.  So, there they sit, just unused and unusable.  At least they haven't been busted up to make Coke Bottles, quite yet!  Indeed... they should all be digitized etc.  That would be a Herculean effort... buy small, compared with all the effort and expense that went into collecting the images!  Tom

Very interesting! I'm heading to Pisgah in January for a tour...wonder what they'll say if I ask to check out the photo-negative archives from the Baker Super-Schmidt :)
