This is the Rosette from a bortle 5 sky. I notice that my images are blurry despite good guiding and frequent focus checking.
I wonder if it's because I don't have a motorized focuser, or because the optics are not good enough...
Any tips for getting sharp images...? Here I attached a link for the unprocessed data.

Canon 450D (filter removed)
 
Acquisition:
light x 25 / dark x 30 / bias x 150 / flat x 30
light @ ISO 800, 300s exposure, f/4.8, 384 mm
2 hr 05 min total integration
 
Processing:
stacked and processed in Pixinsight
final touch in Lightroom

If you are interested in sharing your unprocessed data maybe you could get a few people to try processing it

That's a really nice image. Whilst razor sharp stars are nice in their own right I don't think your image needs to be much better.

That's a really nice image. Whilst razor sharp stars are nice in their own right I don't think your image needs to be much better.
