Hello everyone.

Recently I bought a 50mm guide scope and last night I decided to test it with my ASI224 cam as a guide cam.  So I connected the ST4 camera port to the Sirius EQ-G guide port and started testing with PHD2 guiding software. I tried for the first time to use my Canon 70D to get a series of images of a galaxy.    Its a learning process and I'm very anxious to continue learning towards getting better images and processing.

My setup is as follows

Telescope : Celestron C6 SCT

Main Camera: Canon 70D

Guidecam: ASI224MC

Photos 10x2min @ ISO 1600

Hope you guys like it. waytogo.gif

Nice image!  Only 20 minutes total inegrainteg. Stars look good , round. You just need more subs. The more the deeper you will go with the details.

Keep up the good work and clear skies Mike
