This is one of my favorite binocular targets especially from a dark sky site...like little jewels on black velvet.

Had a harder time processing than I thought it would be. Processed in Pixinsight. Feedback appreciated.

I think noise reduction made the focus look soft....I may have over done it.

80mm refractor

Canon T2i

20 subs, 60sec, 800iso

Stunning in its glorious color and richness. A region of the Fall and Winter skies that I never tire of visiting.

I don't think it looks too soft.  Just not unrealistically sharp.

 

I really don't see any issues at all.
