That’s funny JW, I just took a census. I have 15 telescopes and 18 mounts!

That's a great start!

This one it better compared with the NK65 in many ways (no setting circles) then the Telementor.

That Jason Jupiter is very similar to a 12TE.  That would be a good buy (sans shipping)

Never seen one of those on sale before, CAVE 66/1000. Judging by the eyepieces it should have marvelous optics.

It is a "CLAVE", not Cave.

That's the one we discussed a way back -- couldn't decide if it was a complete Clave product, or a well executed ATM OTA...

Potential deal for someone in the Phoenix.  Meade LX200.   https://www.shopgood...m/Item/64334658

I can't tell if it is a 10-inch or 8-inch, but the bid is low right now.  It appears that the handset is missing, but it should track without it.

Do you think it is exactly the one you discussed?

I'm not a dob person, so I don't know who made this commercial 20" in the early 90s (qualifying it as a classic?).  It looks interesting, and the price doesn't seem too bad.  But i sure hope it isn't stored outdoors, like it seems it might.

Decent price for that size telescope (assuming optics are included) but no not classic.

Looks like it has a dob driver or setting circles.  I know if I lived within a couple hundred miles I would be on a road trip right now.

It's only about 45 mins from me, but I ain't got the money and don't have any place to put it.

-Tim.

P.S.  Did some google searching, and found a CN ad listing for the very same telescope in 2017 for $2500, showing the scope was sold.  I would be suspicious of the current ad, then:

Time to lock it up.  I won't be around tomorrow, so I have to do it today.
