Celestar C8 with real wedge/tripod, hand controller, etc.

https://www.ebay.com...L0AAOSwZKlcTzFC

Questar Seven. Price not for the faint of heart!

https://astromart.co...star-fork-mount

Overpriced orange C8 OTA

https://astromart.co...ge-tube-ota-70s

32mm Wide-Field. I had one of these - it sucked.

https://astromart.co...an-2-size-boxed

That is what i paid for a Q7 20+ years ago.  That one is a deal.

The 32mm Wide field is about the best eyepiece going if used in slower scopes. At sub F/5.5 is hurts my eyes in fast APO's. Slap it in a F/10 Cat and you will love it.

and a steep Orbit Scope 2266 (76/1200) there as well - the kit's a bit scratchy looking, but the tube seems keen.

I also just noticed in the description that the seller is the original owner and can date the purchase to 1962. s/n 170399. Maybe worth adding to the registry?

You know, I never even read the description - seriously - makes a bit of a difference, doesn't it? (I just saw it, put it on watch and blahblihmumble) It is a 15.8 ...yoked RA is nifty - colour's nice - level's intact and wet - has quite a lot going for it ... fellow could sell the boring white 60 Orbit he might have to balance the acquisition of this...

Here is a Monolux 4380 60mm x 910mm in Dover OH on the FB marketplace.

Has a serial number of 6618XX. So should be the Astro Optical version. Vintage I believe is from the 1966 to 1967 time frame give or take. Looks like the orig lower Styro units missing and replaced by nice wooden storage boxes. The middle EP storage unit is original IIRC. Literature is newer 1990s? except the "Star Map for Beginners" is copyright 1964 according to seller. Believe the scope is his moms.

Telescope with carrying case, Dover Ohio $250.

Lets say you are thinning, doing good, not looking, and then you go into a pawn shop and find this for sale that had been outright sold to the shop and not lost to pawn.

Three entries with two pictures each.  Oh, You also haven't had one this nice or with drives.

last two.  Price is not as stated but actually a flat $210 carried out the door.

No cord or controller for the motors though and no papers, just the 26mm Silver, so easier to pass - or no?  Get it for grins if you don't need cause you think it stupid to not? or..?

P.S. the pictures are all screen shots because the ad is no longer posting.

You buy it.  It's a pawn shop so Rick from Pawn Stars has taught me to start low.  Offer $50, but feel free to go to $225, LOL.

Edit:  Are those the old 5 pin motors?  It used to be hard to get the controller for those, but now with zenmarket  you can get one cheap and easy.

Yes, 5 pin motors. I'll have to become one with Zen. Thanks for the info.

He said 200. I said make it a flat $210 out the door tax and all cash and you can run up the receipt however you like. That worked.

130mm f/8 Vernonscope Brandon Apo... https://www.ebay.com...=p2056016.l4276

One of my dream scopes, but too much $$$ for my pocketbook.

Way overpriced, it's a $3500 scope on a good day.

4 Tele Vue Visionary Nagler Type 4/6 Lenses - 5, 7, 11, 17 - going for less than the price of one, well, at the moment. SGW has some peaches, sometimes.

I let the S&S 617 on there slip - skies around here are telling me "One-oh-two" on Thursdays and "eee deee esss deee" on Tuesdays - probably time to listen. meh.

What language are you writing?

Cosmetics are near mint, but an OTA missing parts is worth maybe $150 -- $200 if you're a Kenko Collector...

I got my Dakin 4" F10 for less than $370 -- much better views in the frac.  Or, if you wanted brand new, a C6 OTA would also cost a bit less.

My 125C was a neat scope; but honestly, it hurt more giving up that KES mount than the OTA.
