please i become creasy

because what is my field of view ????

 

astronomy tools or the other are WRONG !

 

550d + celestron .63 + evo 6 (1500/150) ===== CCD: 1.35° x 0.9°

Anyway, reduction factor can change because of reducer-camera distance.

Your upper image is very much like the predicted "Red FOV Box" for the Celestron 6SE + 0.63x + Canon 550D

Why do you say "very strange" ?

 

Why do you even have the "Yellow Box" on the FOV?

The "Yellow FOV Box" is nothing like your photo.

Besause of my newbiability .......blush.gif

i was unable to recognize with stellarium my FOV

and of course believed with "imagined stars" that it was the yellow FOV !!!!!!

a question please

 

if i used a 750d/550d   with lens 250 mm

 

it will be convert to 250x1.6 = 400 ????

 

and the FOV for astronomy tools become CCD: 3.19° x 2.13° ???

is it right please

why did you multiply the focal length by x1.6 ?

sorry i was outdoor ...

 

well

i suppose that the real focal for apsc

it usually "multiplicate" by the crop factor 1,6

 

when you by a FF mm focal lens

 

if you used an apsc (here 1,6) you MUST convert

 to  1,6 x FF

 

because canon determine the inscription FF of a lens

for a Full Frame (24x36)

 

and in "reality" my 250 zoom as a 400 ( i done test )

not for AP just outdoor

 

is a mistake ????

i remember now

trvor of astrobackyard  have tested a 300mm of canon

with a t3i and said the same thing about crop
