Hey all,

I have questions about the ZWO294MC Cooled. Now I plan on getting that for deep sky with my Skywatcher Equinox APO refractor but my other question is how would it compare to my ZWO385MC for Planetary Imaging with a 10" Dobsonian? That is putting the 294mc on my Dob to capture planets. What FPS could I expect with similar resolution of the 385MC (1936×1096) at 120 FPS

So with that in mind, I am getting about 120FPS with my ZWO386mc and very happy with it, I set it to max resolution which is 10bit 1936×1096. I like the wide field of view since I use it with my 10" Aperatura AD10 push dob and it stays on the screen longer.

Now can the ZWO294mc match that frame rate or get close with that kind of view? And would the image quality be similar, better worse ect... since it would be used for planets?.

My main reason for this is that I could sell my ZWO385MC and put the money towards the ZWO294MC. Then get a guide scope setup after it. My original plan was to use the ZWO385MC as a Guide camera and get the 294MC as the main for DSO and still use the 385MC for planets with my Dob. (but would take a little longer for funds).

Thanks all

:)
