I haven't seen a thread yet for this party; anybody planning on going? I was there last summer, my first time, and I plan to make it a yearly event. It's a 5-1/2 hour drive for me, but worth it.

I will be there.  I've been going since Star Quest 5--this year is GBSQ 16.  Green Bank is only 44 miles from here but it takes me an hour and 45 minutes to drive there over the windy roads.

I am planning to attend this year, which will be my first time.  Looks like a great site.  I was wondering about access to AC power. Are there places to at least charge batteries?

There is a charging station in the barn on the edge of the observing field.  No place to plug in on the observing field--people use batteries or their vehicle.

Eye candy to get your enthusiasm going. This is the barn where the recharging station is; the viewing field is behind me. The GBT is a mile away in the background. BTW, the clouds were gone by dark.
