Let's rewind to last September for a while. And then fast forward six dark autumn nights and 17,6 hours of exposures. Months of pondering and not really getting along with the processing. Finally somehow getting the urge and motivation and then finishing the picture in a few intensive sessions. The end result is not at all what I imagined it would be like, but I like it a lot. The region contains many different areas that are intense in Ha, OIII, SII or almost any combination of those resulting in a very colourful picture. There seems to be a lot of intricate detail present in each of the emission bands, but unfortunately the nebula is rather dim outside the brightest regions. So technically this could use some more light™ but since I already exposed this for almost 18 hours I really don't know what would be sufficient to pull out all those details.
Thanks for looking, C&C welcome.
