  • Taken in February, 2019.
  • "President's Choice" ISO 400 film  with Nikkor 50mm lens @f/4 and barn-door tracker.
  • Two images combined in Autostitch, 6 min. and 11 min. each. Unprocessed, using L&C only.

I think President's Choice film is Fuji Superia 400 Xtra. The negative reads:  400N  CH25  H32. It would be great if someone who has used Fuji 400 Xtra could check the numbers on their negatives to compare. I purchased this film 7 years ago.

Red on top, blue on the bottom, and fuzzy in the middle. Nice wide view with that old gelatin.

Nice image, I dig the wide field on it.

I've only got one set of negs from the more recent Fuji Superia Xtra 400 and the numbers on it are:    CH25    S-400     H76

That particular film was purchased in the last year and a half.

Hope that is of use to 'ya.

Keep up the film shots!

tuc - no prob, happy to help out anytime.

I do have a handful of older rolls of Fuji around here (circa 2003) that I haven't shot yet, I think in both 200 and 400 speed. Now that I've found a semi-local shop that returns the negatives I might give those a go soon.

Cheers,

T

I like this a lot! When I saw 'President's Choice' for the film brand, I got a chuckle,

being Canadian as well.

Where did you take this shot?

Hey, thanks. This was taken at Apex Mountain in British Columbia.
