Hi

just purchased a new object locator kit for my xt8i and the lattitude encoder disc doeasnt turn with the telescope.

i read a past post on here about using double sided sticky tape to correct the issueand was hoping that someone whos dealt with this problem could be kind enough to post a pic or two of how it was done.

all comments are welcome, thanks :)

Yes on the dbl side tape. Use the thin type for crafts. Clean everything with alcohol first.
Put it on the underside of the encoder, then press it evenly to the center hole.
It doesn't take a lot of tape. Just 3 or 4 small strips.
