 Hi, I wanted to share the assembling of the largest 50" Fullum Folded Newtonian Telescope installed at the "New Jersey Amateur Astronmer Club" :-)  Here is a time laps of the 12 hours it took to do the work and do first light!!!

Hi, Normand... now that's spectacular!

 

I deduce that the building rolls off/over the scope toward/from the north. Very efficient and nice, clear access all around the wonderful Monster Scope.    Tom

That's an incredible looking telescope. I like how it took more time to enlarge the door than to assemble the scope.

That's right Tom, the building rolls out to the north :-)

P.S. I have to say that it is very impressive when standing next to it, and the best part is that the Focuser is only at 8.5' from the ground when pointing at the Zenith!!  :-)
