Unfortunately, as soon as I run it, the mouse pointer disappears. :(

I cured the problem by putting it in windowed mode, which is how I run it normally anyway. But something is definitely not right in the full screen mode. Not only did the mouse pointer disappear, all the cooling fans on my Alienware cranked up. When I went to windowed mode, they shut down and the mouse pointer appeared.

Just a guess: Possible video driver compatibility? Try updating or re-installing the video driver..

I just tired ver 19 and switched several times between window and full screen modes and mouse cursor was always visible.

I get frequent updates of the video (and other drivers) from Alienware/Dell, so there's nothing for me to update. If it were the driver you wouldn't think it would work in Windowed mode either.

That makes perfect sense....BUT...I haven't changed the mouse cursor setting in a long time...or ever.

FWIW, I also had the "cursor disappears" problem on 0.19.0 in full screen mode, and did not have the problem on 0.18.3.

And, indeed, if I turned off cursor trails, the problem went away.

I didn't see a major increase in resource usage for full screen vs non...just a bit more, and for both it looks like most time is spent in Qt, as I would expect.
