I found a Tasco 6TE at an Estate sale a while back. I have no clue how to use it so I decided to sell it on EBAY, but due to the amount if interest I've gotten in it, I wanted to see what I could find out about it before it goes to a home where it will be used. I figured I'd ask the people who know the most about the hobby!!
Here is some info about it.
The finder scope is 14", and the viewing scope is 24". I measured the painted white area from end to end.
The equatorial mount is sturdy and made of metal. Pictures available upon request.
Sturdy wooden dove-tail storage box
Wooden adjustable tri-pod stand (has minor age damage)
Dual viewing telescope
10+ different viewing eyepieces in various sizes
MISC. telescope accessories, lenses, lens tissue, weight, brackets, (unsure what they are all called, please look at pictures.)
Vintage book "Astronomy for Amateur Observers"
I have added the sizes marked on the eyepieces for reference:

H.6mm
SR 4mm
H 20mm
HM 6mm
HM 9mm
HM 12.5mm
HM 18mm
(2) Sun lenses
(1) Moon lens
There is a metal tag/label on the larger telescope: ( Metal label reads: TECH INST CO. , D= 762mm F= 910mm No. 3655)
It has a JAPAN telescopes inspection tag with serial# 930788 on back.
This item is currently running on EBAY if you are looking to buy one it is Item number: 3808956505, OR if you just want to see the pictures, CHECK IT OUT!! THanks in advance for anyone who extends their knowledge!!

I checked out the links, but I found those already, that is the model 6TE-"5", mine is just a 6TE, it didnt come in a styrofoam box, it came in a wooden dove-tail box. The closest I could find was the Model 7TE, but not knowing the difference between a refractor and a reflector, comparables didnt help.
Anyone know anything about this thing?
