mike macanin, my g-n-g gear is certainly bigger and heavier than yours, but when it's time to go, I don't go far: just thirty feet down my driveway.  I thought I had a photo, but...

 

I use a Losmandy GM-8 and an 8" f/20 classical Cassegrain in my driveway.

I keep forgetting to do this: here is my grab-and-go:

Nice! I forgot I was in the Cat and Cass forum for a minute thinking about my grab and go pair (a 4" refractor and an Astroscan) my Cass (a C-8 Super Polaris) is a little too large for a grab and go. But a C-90 Mak would make a great little grab and go.

C90 on a Porta mount or 127mak on an EQ3 Astromount.

Of course there's the ST80 also.
