Last night had a few firsts for me:

1st image of a glob..don't know if I processed it very well.

1st image with the EdgeHD 8

1st time using Cel. .7x FR 

Waxing gib. moon so decided to go for M3.

T5i unmodded @ ISO 800

25 X 180"

15 darks, 15 flats, 30 bias

stacked w/DSS and processed in PS.

 

i would really welcome any comments and criticisms!

You have dark centers in your larger stars. That suggest you over did something during processing. In PixInsight it's happens to me if I'm not careful in star reduction.

Yes, when I zoom in very tight on the larger stars I see what you mean. Not sure what I did but I'll try to figure it out. Appreciate the feedback!

Nice! Try it with your G3 for comparison. You might be surprised (the G3 is a decent little camera!). Again, nice image!

Thanks! I have far to go, but since building my observatory I can be imaging in 5-10 minutes which has really helped me improve my skills. I do plan to give the G3 cam a try & move on from my DSLR..just haven't gotten around to working out the spacing, setup, etc, & have almost no experience w/dedicated CCD/AP cams.
