That's what's left of his old dob. He since became a man of culture (after discovering fine apo refractors) and had no further use for it.

I was wondering the same thing. He should turn it into a trellis if he is not gong to image with it.

Definitely a beauty, not a beast.  smile.gif

I used to have a SV152 f/8 with a TMB LZOS lens...that was much more of a beast to handle, but it sure was beautiful too.
