Hi Guys

I have a Meade LX200 GPS 14" SCT. It has a 8x50mm finderscope.
I have recently purchased an Orion 60mm guidescope ( dovetail ) which obviously doesn't fit the adaptor slot.
Does anyone know if there is an adaptor ( made by meade or some other company ) that I can attach to the telescope so that I can then attach the Orion 60mm guidescope.

Hello,

I am planning to guide my 8" LX90ACF and for this reason I opted for a 50mm guidescope from Astromania and it just fits in the Meade mount. I have ordered this Dovetail mount :

to fit on another scope but I am also interested to see if there's a way to mount it on the meade if I need to fit a bigger guide scope Will give feedback when it arrives.

This will work:  I use it on my 10" LX200ACF to mount an Orion finder scope:

Orion 07215 Schmidt-Cassegrain Finder Scope Base (Black)

Fits perfectly.

It looks exactly like the Agena one except that because is Orion’s is more expensive.

I recently fit a Synta RACI to a C8 and used such a shoe. I had to work the foot of the bracket with a file to get it to fit. The Orion foot should fit an Orion shoe and may be worth the cost to avoid problems.

Can you share a picture of it installed with and without the finder mounted.
