I have a PSD file I'm trying to save as a tif.

When I save as a jpg everything looks as expected... but when I save as a tiff the nebula is not there.  It's almost like its unstretched.

PSD saved as a tif:

When I save as a jpg:

Any idea on how I can save as a tif or what I did wrong... never ran into this before.

Thanks!!!

Make sure you're saving the TIFF without the alpha channel. If you created and saved a star mask, it saves it as the alpha channel by default. However, when opening the file individually it will be masked.

Try saving the TIFF as a copy, unchecking the alpha channel box.

That is something that puzzled me for a while with my images. Hope it helps.
