About 4 years ago, opticsmart went out of business. On High Point Scientific you can still however, buy them.

Are they legitimate, or fake?

Apertura Dobs were manufactured by Guan Sheng Optical for Opticsmart.   GSO will put anyone's name on them, they all seem identical.

So, now High Point is selling GSO Dobs with the Apertura name on them.  They're legitimate,.

I just took delivery of an Apertura AD12.  Beautiful piece of equipment. Bought it from High Point Scientific.
