Has any one crafted a simple on/off two speed controller for a 9v battery that will drive a modern Questar? Maybe in a size close to a cigarette box.

The PG III is obnoxious future overkill of the original concept.

If you’re out there....here is my order.

Ha!

I have to admit when I first laid eyes on my PG III I did think why is it so big. I only use it to drive the RA drive after all.

It weighs in at around 390 g including the cord. It does not fit in my old case.

 

It will however in the new case Ben has designed.
