Astrospheric

Advanced weather forecasting for North American astronomers
overview.jpg

Website  |  Android App  |  iOS App

Hello fellow astronomers,

I'm currently working on a set of features for astronomical societies across the US and Canada. Before releasing these features publicly, I'm looking for testers to help kick the tires in an upcoming beta.

Here are the main things that will be tested during the Beta:

  • Your society will be able to communicate, create events, and make itself known on Astrospheric's map.
  • Your society members will be able to create their own events, plan, and communicate directly in Astrospheric.
  • Free Astrospheric subscriptions to enable weather notifications for all members

If this sounds interesting, please sign up your society using the following form for a chance to participate.

That's it for now, thanks for reading!

Clear skies,
Dan

I signed up today from SCAS I didn't realize it was a Beta Test. But that isn't a problem. Glad to help.

Thanks Neal, I saw your submission!

"Beta" might be underselling it.  The software should be nearly bug free by the time this starts up in July.  I'm mainly trying to control the amount of users that will be signed up in the beginning as well as gauge interest from the community.

Can non-club members access the site?  Can they be beta testers, or are you only testing the club features?

Non club members can of course use the Astrospheric website and apps.  The features that are about to enter beta testing are specifically for members of clubs though.
