Howdy.

For those that do not see many southern objects, I hope you find something pleasing in my rendition of NGC3324 Nebula (also known as The Gabriel Mistral Nebula) and NGC3293 star cluster in Carina, in SHO colours.

Details can be found under the image and you can use the size buttons on the bottom of the page to suit your screen or preference.

Thanks for taking a look.

Cheers and Clears!

Simply gorgeous. I love the depth of field perspective the SHO gives the image, as does the cluster. Nice detail on the nebulous filaments in the upper portion of the image.

Vivid! And the cluster looks like jewelry.

Thanks for all the likes and comments, I'm glad you all enjoyed the view!

Scopenitout, I have heard the cluster called the Diamonds and Rubies Cluster, so your jewellery analogy fits very well. waytogo.gif

Fabulous image. Wow, NGC 3324 really comes out well in SHO. I was looking at DSS (colored) - I am pretty sure a straight up Ha/LRGB would not do nearly as well to show the nebula's features.

Hi Jim, many thanks for stopping in for a look.

I know it is not quite the same and I think the image looks quite flat however; here is a HA,OII,OII image that might give you an idea.
