As the title implies, just looking to identify this telescope. Looked interesting and can't find a model number for sure on it. Thanks for the help!

I’d bet that’s a Celestron Super C8 plus, 1985 or so, I did find a link to everything you’ll need to know about this classic.

Yep, that's it. Near-vintage too, good scope I've heard.

As a matter of fact, I have one just like it, minus the fork mount. Just need to get a mount for it, 1-1/4" diagonal, eyepiece set, and it'll be good to go.

I agree, sure looks like it with the AC plug. Depending on what they are asking for it, might be a good deal there.

Thanks I was a diesel truck mechanic and rebuilt every nut and bolt in it. smash.gif

O and I carried a Yamaha 125 on the front bumper for back trails too.

footnote   .......truck quit near the top, turns out I ran out of fuel because the 2 side tanks drained to the front and even tho I filled up before going up there it was so steep I ran out of fuel, I put gas in from the gas can and made it to the Top.
