This is one of my first moon shots.

I used a canon DSLR 1200 camera and a 70 mm F/6 ED scope

I have no experience in taking photograps..but maybe a challenge for the future

 

My youngest son took care of some photoshopping ..;grin.gif IMG_1606 (Medium).png

Very nice, looks like my visual impression under a long focal length eyepiece.

Due to the fact it had to resize this shot to meet cloudynighs requirements some contrast is lost unfortunately.

Yes , it is unclear to me how i have interprete the magnification in photograps like that. F was 420 mm , if i divide through 50 mm it gives me 8 times, but you can zoom it in and it seems a lot more...

 

I have a lot to figure out...observed for years but never took photographs....

When clicking for the full size image, it is very sharp looking!
