Very impressive. Difficult to image from Europe unfortunately.

Fabulous nebula and well captured! I had never heard of it before, so I checked up NGC 3576 on Stellarium and it is listed as an HII region. Based on ABin comments, looks like this name was given recently - like in 2009. Anyway, too low for me in Texas also, but really nicely processed. It really looks like the Statue of Liberty. Thanks for sharing ..... Anil
