An unashamedly bold narrowband colour edition of "The Statue of Liberty" nebula in Carina.

An unconventional palette certainly, but hey, why not?

There's no accounting for taste wink.gif - so I won't argue. I really like the artistic attitude and acknowledge the obviously very high degree of your processing skills.

You found a way to express what you wanted and the result pronounces the "Statue of Liberty" very well. If that is what you wanted I say congratulations waytogo.gif . Tonemapping has obiously worked fine. Can you tell some findings you hat using Starnet++ ?

Color rendering aside, there is much interesting detail in this shot.

Thanks Pete & Scopinitout, re: Starnett++ it's a gamechanger for tonemapping.

I've used Annies' Actions, Troys' actions, JP Metsavianio's actions & Startools but this beats all of them hands down!

Clunky to use on the mac - completely un-user friendly - but gee it works well waytogo.gif

As to detail - yep - worked hard to preserve it, cheers smile.gif

Fantastic Palette and incredible detail! I shot this target recently but I didn't quite like the hubble palette result
