Hi all,
Due to 12V cord failure I wasn't able to image on the night I wanted too. I made a temporary cord which seem to work just fine for now.

Any way here is the image of Jupiter and Io from the 25-5-19 12-23 UT in average seeing conditions. Jupiter's altitude for my location was 53° and Jupiter's current size is 45.5".
I have enlarged the image a bit more than normal so you can see the material shearing off the GRS. I thought I will still post the image in case people are following the GRS developments at the moment.

Cheers

Very nice image, Troy. I could see the tail coming off the GRS in my image from last night, but without perfect seeing I never know if I've captured a feature or an artifact. Now I know it's real.

Thanks guys.

A lot is happening with Jupiter at the moment SEB and the GRS so interesting times.

BQ for your location the jet stream is moving very fast - so hopefully there is a break coming soon. smile.gif

I like how well you captured the GRS.
