Will there be an upgrade encoder kit to convert older units purchased before?

waytogo.gif Nice price reduction Markus!

I noticed on the APM web page that the Big Binocular Fork Mount, for the 150mm bino, won't be available now for another 2-3 months.  Will this next batch have the encoders and Nexus DSC available for it too?

Good competition for a DM6

Still hoping someone comes out with a great Alt AZ mount that'll track and and DSC or GOTO. The Evolution is what I have and its flaw is that the yoke is not on the side and rather it makes the scope swing through the mount. The iOptron AZ Mount Pro is basically the only Alt/Az one for refractor folks wanting a tracking mount with DSC's / goto and tracking

Thanks for the reply, Markus.

I would even be happy with setting circles on Alt and Az movements.  Should be easy to do.  Just a pointer on the fixed parts, located towards the viewer, and a degree circle on the moveable parts.

Though not as good as a Nexus, but if accurate, these would be very helpful in locating/identifying/cataloging faint objects.

I may even try to do this myself if all else fails.

Rick

Hi Markus,

Your original post mentioned the included Nexus Controller.

The enclosed photo shows the APM fork mount with encoders and Nexus DSC controller.

Could you clarify which Astro Systems controller is included - Nexus or Nexus DSC ?

Thx, Gary
