As recently reported in the Equipment section, full telescope resolution of moon detail can be achieved on rather wide fields with an ASI178MM 2.4 µm grid camera chip directly placed at the f/5 focus plane of a 10" parabolic mirror. Here are another two examples of wide field, high resolution imaging with the above setup:

Full resolution image with 0.39"/px of the above 20% preview is accessible via http://astro-vr.de/M...1_Mosaik_v3.htm. Thanks to wide field capture at f/5 the above mosaic was covered by six images in 2Kx2K format. Video capture including successive telescope readjustment required a total time of six minutes only.

The image below was generated from a single 10s video with 370 x 1ms exposure.

Full resolution image with 0.26"/px of the above 25% preview is accessible via http://www.astro-vr.de/Mond_190513.htm.

I should have mentioned that the above images differ from previous edits by enhanced illumination near the terminator in order to come closer to live vision at a telescope eye piece.
