If you're out there and not sure what to view at some point tonight, check out V Coronae Borealis, a deep almost blood red star. +4.41 on the Color Index.

Now with the term "hidden" I thought you were going to talk about something like this:

^stars that only appear in near-infrared wavelength sensitive imaging with a full spectrum modded camera...

So red they aren't visible......

I see it's a variable with a fairly large variation - what's it's current brightness?
