Dear all,

does anyone know the internal diameter of the dew shield in a questar standard? I wonder if it is possible to put a 105mm clip-on lens cap.

Thanks!

A 95 mm clip on lens cap fits perfectly to the 95mm filter threads in the main tube for the screw lens cap.

Not sure why you want to attach to the dew shield, but...  For photo flats, I use something even easier to put on. The plastic jar lids that Costco uses for nuts fits loosely around the dew shield. I put black flat felt paper on the inside and it’s easy to put on to take darks and not disturb the dew shield or my aim.
