ariadas rille.jpg Hello Group,

My first opportunity to sketch post heart transplant.  I used  a black ink pen. Drawn using drift method.  Decent seeing at times. Meds cause severe tremors at the moment.

I had a blast!

There were many juicy targets so this one was a warm up.

Matt

Ditto that... Very nice image, and continue to get better soon; the dark skies await your return!

Wow Matt, that is just wonderful!

So glad you're still here and are feeling well enough now and start observing again.

Certainly one of the most user-friendly scopes is of help after such an ordeal.

Hang in there buddy and let the starlight help in recovering from your transplant waytogo.gif

Thanks Everybody- have a clear shot tonight  at Luna.

Questar is the perfect lunar telescope.

Virtual Moon Atlas is free and it is a perfect tool to predict the current  formations visible, to help an imager or renderer identify  those lunar formations captured, plus there is a host of technical data-- don't forget libration!

My favorite virtual lunar map is an app that runs on the iPhone and iPad called Moon Globe. There’s a free version and a 99¢ HD version available at the Apple App Store. Here’s a review:
