My bad, it clearly says the 8" ACF has a losmandy dovetail. My iEQ30 Pro has a vixen.

I bought one of these, but I'm wondering what other people are doing?

https://www.adorama.com/farfvm8.html

Surely there's a dual losmandy/vixen plate I can just bolt to the existing "bridges" already mounted to the tube?

Or vixen one specifically?

Thanks in advance!

(Mods please move this if I've posted in the wrong forum)

Certainly replacing the dovetail bar will do it.

There are D to V converters our there, ADM sells them.

ADM also sells replacement saddles for the most mounts, you can get a dual saddle that will work for both types so you are covered moving forward:  https://www.admacces...ddle-dv-series/

I don't see the iEQ30 there, but it may use the same as the ZEQ25?  Send ADM a note, the owner is very helpful...

So, that thing from ADM plugs into my mount, then it fits the losmandy plate already on the scope.

Interesting, thanks!

I initially bought that new saddle plate, then I had second thoughts about it - the factory radius blocks and plates are so very nice.

So I also bought a losmandy adapter for my mount. I figure if I buy another scope with a losmandy rail, I'm set.
