Picked up this little 20-60X 60mm objective spotting scope. It's a vintage K-Mart Focal. Made in Japan and has the "circle K" stamp. Nice little scope. I bought it for our trip to Colorado. I don't want to drag my 8" Dob all the way there and thought that a spotting scope would be the way to go. I took it out for a spin in sky's about 20 miles east of Dallas and I saw faint bands on Jupiter and all four moons, got a pretty darn good look at Saturn's rings, and the moon looked pretty good but was near straight up and hard to do with this straight scope. Says "Hard Coated Optics" never seen that before.
