Stayed out all rugged up watching the changes to the GRS until the corrector plate on my borrowed Celestron C8 frosted up.... Here ya go, hot off the press (or should I say cold pressed?). Lots of developments evident both fore and aft, with the SEB reduced to two distinct, separate threads.Only a single strand emerging from the 'flux vortex.'

Nice to see that someone has a good view. In the north, Jupiter is as low as it gets in our sky. Looking though too much air to get a nice view like that. Well done.

Thanks all for the generous comments. Jupiter crosses the meridian at 60+ degrees altitude at the moment - great views to be had this opposition! But hey, you guys get all the good comets! lol.gif
