INDEED! smile.gif

My first serious scope was a Celestar C8 with the wedgepod (mid-90's). I loved the fact it ran forever on just a 9V battery.

Like many others I really enjoy using my C-8 its a great all around scope as some would say a jack of all trades but a master to none. When all is said and done and the smoke clears and all my other scope are gone I will still have my C-8 even now its still gets used the most.

Scopes:

Celestron 6 inch reflector

C-6 sct

C-8 sct

Orion 14 inch goto dob

My little darling

First thing that I did recently after receiving C8 was to put Telrad base on it ! It looks like a monster on small 8", but is really the best finder there.

Not finished yet!

I'm currently making dew heater strips and have ordered a new William Optics diagonal setup with roto-locks so I can more easily rotate the eyepiece.

Latest change was swapping all straight cables for curled cables.
