Finally got around to process an animation of Jupiter with Io.

 

Only mono red channel.

 

Maybe I've make individual RGB frames at some point (will take a day) undecided.gif

I never thought to use the grayscale channel for the animated GIF. You get the full 8-bit gamut as a result…no dithering here! I might have to try this on my green channels…
