 Tom, have you put a magnet to the metal of the OTA? Is it ferrous or is it aluminum? (I'd guess aluminum.)

Thanks Bart for the kind words . The scope OTA and mount are of all Ferrous metals construction ( A magnet does adhere ) ....The finderscope ( all brass ) and the male threaded helical  focuser are of ( brass and aluminum ) Non Ferrous metals . I have yet to remove the primary mirror and I'm of high hopes to discover some sort of scribed markings  on it . The secondary is a right angle  prism  .
