Would anyone happen to know of a good source for replacement handles for vintage wood telescope cases? This is for a Mayflower 60mm/700 refractor from the early 1960s. Doesn't really matter which version, any similar handle will do just fine, only mention it to give you an idea of what I am talking about.

Also, would anyone happen to have any spare metal Mayflower or Tasco emblems/tags for the front of the case by the handle? Probably not, but just in case someone here had a case bite the dust in shipping and had the spare parts on hand, please message me.

I am restoring a couple of vintage wood cases in rough shape and trying to find parts for cases is even harder than trying to find parts for the telescopes.

Chuck Hards turned everybody on to replacement luggage handles sold at Ace Hardware.

I've also seen some by searching ebay for luggage, case, guitar case, or instrument handles.

The ACE handle is a good match for the usual handle style, but for atypical handles (like the Unitron with the leather strap), this place has a wider range of options:

Also check Antique Electronics Supply, they carry a lot of older style handles for guitar cases and amps that are appropriate styled.

all great resources for handles.  It is amazing how many places sell replacement handles.  Tells you these things were not made to last.
