Hi everyone,

Lasr night I was observing the partial lunar eclipse, here in Cap Ferret with 10x50 binoculars.

at 10 pm, the moon has just risen, still sleepy and veiled.
at half past midnight, the eclipse is splendid!

Dry pastel drawing on black canson.

Hope you like it,

Francis

Hi Francis

Bravo

I like the simple atmosphere of your pastels, a good souvenir!

We were at each end of the same country, I'm based in the "Haut Var" on the top of the village of Bauduen.

Kind regards

I saw the Partial Lunar Eclipse with a good friend on the east coast of Ireland for over 1.5 hours through my Meade 9X63 binoculars on a tripod.

The Moon was constantly covered by quite thick clouds which made the Moon look orange.

It all means I have observed 3 eclipses in 2019.

I have never achieved that before in my lifetime!

January 21: Total Lunar Eclipse from Dublin, Ireland.

July 2: Total Solar Eclipse from Argentina.

July 16: Partial Lunar Eclipse.

Clear skies from Aubrey.

Hi Franc.

Can I take it you saw all 3 eclipses of 2019?

What countries did you see them?

(Just wondering)

Kind regards from Aubrey.

Sorry flt158, misunderstanding, in my mind it was only my first drawing of a lunar eclipse.

Best regards,

Francis
