its a relatively new toy on the marked. I was interested in its bigger brother, the APM 152 binocular telescope. Decided for a 12" binocular Dobsonian instead.

Why is the 140mm bino telescope more expensive than the 152mm bino telescope?

The 140mm has a wood fork mount, the 152 a centre mount.

APM frequently seems to have editing problems with their product descriptions so it's not a surprise.

 

Notable differences I see are the glass used and mounts. The 140 f7 states that FPL53 is used; 152 f7.9 uses FPL51. Mounts are dob style (140) or center mount (152) as pointed out above. 

 

Says focusers are both 3" FTs but the 140 description also mentions APM 3.7" focuser in the copy.   confused1.gif
