Got a new Redcat recently and tried it last night with 93% moonlight and the L-Enhance filter on NGC 6188.

25x5 minutes, Nikon d5600, cropped

The scope seems quite nice, focusing is easy and the L-Enhance did a good job under moonlight.

I also did some test shots to start with using a Canon 600D, centered on Acrux.

Shown at full resolution is the image centre and the worst corner.

The top two corners were perfect - maybe a little tilt? I've ordered the WO copper T ring to see how that goes. Image is decent anyway.

And an Eta Carinae with the L-Enhance/moon rising - took this before 6188 posted above.

Looks really good Tony. Keep us posted on how it goes with your new telescope.

Hi,

I am interested in buying this filter since I use a Canon T3i. Is your Nikon D5600 modded? My camera is not and I'm interested in this filter performance in an unmodified camera.

Gorgeous shots by the way.

Thanks. I originally used my camera in standard form but modified it a few months back following the Lifepixel DIY guide.

I've got the Whitecat 51 and a Pentax K-1. I ordered the L-Enhance last week. Looking at these it looks like I made the right decision. These images are nice.
