All,

We here at Simulation Curriculum wanted to let all you fine folks know that Bill Tschumy is retiring from his role as developer, and as the most public face of SkySafari here on CN.

We wanted to take this opportunity to say an enormous thank you to Bill for his incredible contributions to the SkySafari line. His tireless commitment to improving functionality, accuracy, performance and user experience have made SkySafari the amazing tool that it is today.  We will miss working with him every day and we expect that you will miss having such direct access to one of the most talented developers in the business.

For all queries regarding how to use SkySafari or setup the app for use with telescope control & connectivity please join the discussions at our official SkySafari community forums where you will find developers, simulation curriculum support agents, and a very active and passionate SkySafari user community.

Good luck Bill: enjoy whatever comes next.  If you get bored, you're no more than a 'git pull' away.

Congratulations, Bill and Lowell Observatory thanks you for your support over the last 18 months. Enjoy the next few decades and make time to come see our new observatory after Oct 5th. I'll personally give you a tour of campus.

Bill,

Thanks for your tireless efforts through the years and for contributing so much to SS - my favorite app since ver 3 came out and I downloaded it!

I wonder what he's going to do in retirement?

Stargazing maybe? laugh.gif

Congrats Bill! Enjoy your free time.

Best wishes! SkySafari has been and is still my preferred app both in the field and in the house! Thanks for all you've done to deliver this app to the community.

Good luck Bill! I've been a Sky Safari user since it was first released for Android, and I love it!
