Beginning of occultation....... Saturn_occulttn_1.jpg    Rain.....until end of occultation (then more rain). Same as last time. Grrrrrrrrr!

take it easy...

what I should say:

in Germany is date time and the moon passes beneath Saturn, no occulation was possible here .

Reminds me of the great eclipse. Perfect skies except from 10 minutes before to 30 minutes after it was magically cloudy. Haha I was annoyed!

You can't let it get to you.

I have gone out to look at the southern cross and realized that I am in the northern hemisphere and it isn't visible from here because the earth is in the way!!

Just think of it this way, mother earth provides you with an atmosphere that you can breathe and sometimes you can see great celestial events.  There , now do you feel better?
