Hello everyone.
Attached drawing of M17. Based on the sketch I made on foot of a telescope for three nights in the months of June and July.
Testing textures I have made two drawings (for all tastes!)
The main objective in this drawing was to print the overall "rough" appearance of the nebula and, above all, the tangle of clouds and dust filaments of the central body (with the appearance of crumpled paper)

One of the nights the sky was very good and it was overwhelming to observe the central body area at high magnifications (<200x), since the feeling of immersion between the clouds was impressive.

The image is not very good, I made it with the mobile. A3 paper doesn't fit me in the scanner.

T350, 80-200x, NPB, Male 6.2.
June-July 2019. Villanueva del Campillo. Spain
A3 black paper, gray watercolor pencils (nebula) and white pitt pencil (stars)

Hola a tod@s.

T350, 80-200x, NPB, Male 6,2.
Junio-julio de 2019. Villanueva del Campillo. España
Papel negro A3, lápices acuarelables grises (nebulosa) y lápiz pitt blanco (estrellas)

Very nice and realistic work Pedro. Especially the first sketch brings back sweet memories of my own observations of the Swan under dark skies, but I like the way you are experimenting with the second sketch too.

The "split tail" is a feature I missed, will pay special attention to it next time!

Regards, Martijn

Two impressive sketches of M 17.

Your captures of the nebula and stars are very detailed.

Pleasing to look at.

A good representation of M 17, this nebula really has a lot of detail and you have to work hard to create the fine details.
