I reedited an older series of 77 x 180 s Iso 1600 images with Astro Pixel Processor and Photoshop CC2018.

The Camera was a Pentax K3ii and the telescope my TS Photoline 130/910 apo.

Thanks Andreas! I walk backwards in time inspecting my older imaging data to find sets that might profit from my actual workflow. My one year old  previous version (https://astrob.in/full/364422/0/) of the Cocoon already showed that little reflection nebula but with less structure and no color. Also the outer bluish parts of the nebula were not visible and the long "dark lane" that extends to the side was just dark and showed no nebula structure. So I am quite happy with Cocoon 2019 smile.gif

Cheers

Pete

That's just an excellent image- colors and details are fantastic. DEFINITELY time well spent to bring this one back out of the can for another go around on post processing, given this wonderful result!

No dark sky frown.gif . This was made from my balcony in a small village. The sky should be around bortle 4-5. l measure sqm 20,0-20,5 in good nights with my Iphone app but don't know how exact that is.
