Hi I want to share my most recent image: IC1396

 

Details:

OTA Takahashi FSQ106@f3

Camera Atik11000 Mono

Mount Mach1

Filters Astrodon RGB and Ha 5nm

18 x 30min Ha

6 x 5min per RGB channel.

You just can't beat an F3 Tak 106 for wide field imaging. Great shot.

I agree! This combo is very sweat. Processing the data is very easy compared to other cameras/telescopes I have.

Hi Andreas,

 

Thanks for the comment. The FOV is incredible. The resolution is not so good but good enough to produce better results than a camera lens + smaller sensor camera.

Hi, 50mm unmounted filters. There is vigneting around 60% in the far corners, not sure is the issue is caused exclusively by the optics or if the filters footprint has something to do. Vigneting is fully correctable with flats.

Hi,

 

I am using the stock focuser. I designed a bracket to attach a moonlite focuser directly to the focuser shaft, no reduction. You can find the bracket I designed here:
